1. Resumen

Furniture Fit Check no tiene cuenta ni anuncios, y no agregamos analíticas. Tus medidas, fotos, notas y datos de muebles se quedan en tu teléfono. No recopilamos, vendemos ni compartimos datos personales. Los componentes de Google incluidos en la app envían a Google datos técnicos limitados, descritos abajo.

2. Lo que se queda en tu dispositivo

  • Rutas, medidas, muebles, notas, fotos, PDF y ajustes se guardan solo en el almacenamiento privado de la app en tu teléfono.
  • Quedan fuera de la copia de seguridad en la nube de Android. Puedes exportar un archivo de respaldo desde Ajustes y tú eliges dónde guardarlo.
  • Las fotos se guardan de nuevo sin ubicación. El texto de las capturas se lee en el teléfono (Google ML Kit, modelo en el dispositivo).

3. Cuándo se conecta la app

  • Importar página de tienda: solo cuando pegas o compartes un enlace; la app descarga esa página por HTTPS, sin cookies, para leer las medidas. No se envía nada sobre ti.
  • Código de barras: solo cuando escaneas uno; la app envía ese código (y nada más) a UPCitemdb (upcitemdb.com) para encontrar el producto.
  • Perfiles de edificios compartidos: función opcional, desactivada salvo que tu versión la ofrezca; al usarla se envía la dirección que buscas o las medidas que decides compartir. No contienen información personal.
  • Compras: Pro y Business se compran con Google Play. Google procesa el pago; solo recibimos la confirmación de compra.
  • Componentes de Google: la lectura de texto y el escáner de códigos (Google ML Kit) y la medición con cámara (Servicios de Google Play para RA, ARCore) envían a Google datos técnicos para diagnóstico y analítica de uso: modelo del dispositivo y versión de Android, versión de la app, un identificador por instalación, datos de rendimiento y errores y, en ARCore, un identificador del dispositivo o el de tu cuenta de Google si iniciaste sesión. No se envían fotos, medidas ni texto escaneado. Google trata estos datos según la Política de privacidad de Google (https://policies.google.com/privacy); nosotros no los recibimos.

4. Permisos

  • Cámara: medir con la cámara (ARCore) y tomar fotos, solo al abrir esas herramientas.
  • Bluetooth: conectar un medidor láser. En Android 8–11 Android exige permiso de ubicación para buscar dispositivos Bluetooth; la app nunca lee tu ubicación.
  • Notificaciones: recordatorios del día de entrega que tú configuras.
  • Internet: las funciones en línea descritas arriba.

5. Niños

La app no está dirigida a menores de 13 años y no recopila datos de nadie.

6. Borrar tus datos

Ajustes → Borrar todos los datos elimina todo lo que guardó la app. Desinstalarla hace lo mismo.

1. Summary

Furniture Fit Check has no account and no ads, and we add no analytics. Your measurements, photos, notes and furniture details stay on your phone. We do not collect, sell or share personal data. Google components built into the app send Google limited technical data, described below.

2. What stays on your device

  • Routes, measurements, furniture, notes, photos, PDFs and settings are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone.
  • They are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. You can export a backup file yourself from Settings, and you choose where it is saved.
  • Photos are re-saved without location data. Text in screenshots is read on the phone (Google ML Kit, on-device model).

3. When the app goes online

  • Store page import — only when you paste or share a product link: the app downloads that page over HTTPS, without cookies, to read the product's size. Nothing about you is sent.
  • Barcode lookup — only when you scan a barcode: the app sends that code (and nothing else) to UPCitemdb (upcitemdb.com) to find the product.
  • Shared building profiles — an optional feature that is off unless offered in your version: when used, the address you look up or the sizes you choose to share are sent to the app's building-profile server. Shared sizes contain no personal information.
  • Purchases — Pro and Business are bought through Google Play. Google handles payment; we receive only the purchase confirmation. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Google components — text reading and the barcode scanner (Google ML Kit) and camera measuring (Google Play Services for AR, ARCore) send Google technical data for diagnostics and usage analytics: device model and Android version, app version, a per-installation identifier, performance and error data, and, for ARCore, a device identifier or your Google account identifier if you are signed in. Photos, measurements and scanned text are not sent. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy); we do not receive it.

4. Permissions

  • Camera — measuring with the camera (ARCore) and taking photos, only when you open those tools.
  • Bluetooth — connecting a laser distance meter, only when you pair one. On Android 8–11 Android requires location permission to scan for Bluetooth devices; the app never reads your location.
  • Notifications — delivery-day reminders you set.
  • Internet — the online features listed above.

5. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

6. Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all data removes everything the app stored. Uninstalling the app does the same.
